Attorney Kathryn Freiburger is dedicated to providing skilled legal representation and personalized services, focusing on serving Servicemembers, Veterans, and their families. At the start of her legal career, Ms. Freiburger served on active duty in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps (“JAG”), where she represented clients facing a wide range of military matters, including administrative actions such as letters of reprimand, financial liability for government property, negative NCO and Officer evaluations, and separations under the Qualitative Management Program (“QMP”).

She also coordinated with military MEB/PEB counsel for clients who were undergoing the disability evaluation process and represented victims of sexual assault throughout the military justice and administrative process.

After separating honorably from the service, Ms. Freiburger operated her solo law firm focusing on Veterans issues, where she advocated for Veterans throughout the Veterans Affairs appeals process before the Department of Veterans Affairs and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She also represented Veterans before the Board for Correction of Military Records and assisted current and former Servicemembers in criminal justice matters, administrative actions and separations, and board hearings.

Ms. Freiburger then served as the Senior Staff Attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit in West Palm Beach, Florida, for one year. This unique opportunity allowed her to gain valuable experience with the local state court system and to mentor attorneys at the start of their legal careers.

Ms. Freiburger now brings the strength, training, and dedication instilled in her by the military into her zealous advocacy for clients worldwide. Her experience in both state and federal courts has made her a well-rounded attorney with experience in a wide range of practice areas. She currently focuses her practice on the specialized area of military law, including matters involving nonjudicial punishment, administrative separations and board hearings, complaints, security clearance issues, and the disability evaluation process (MEB/PEB) for all five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

As a Veteran herself, Ms. Freiburger understands the unique challenges our Servicemembers and Veterans face, and she is dedicated to addressing a variety of legal needs while providing quality, individualized representation for each and every client.
