David Moore has practiced military law his entire career and comes from a large military family. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He then attended the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree focusing on Administrative Law.
Before joining the Crisp and Associates Military Law team, David earned a fellowship position under the Supportive Services for Veteran and Families grant program while still in law school.
He then worked with low-income veterans on upgrading their military character of discharges before the Board of Corrections of Military Records and the Discharge Review Board. David has also successfully helped many clients obtain service-connected disability benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs and through hearings before the Board of Veterans Appeals. Among his many victories, he recovered thousands of dollars in veterans’ disability benefits for his clients. Due to his outstanding performance with these claims, David was quickly promoted to the department head of the Veterans’ Law division at his previous firm. The driving force of his successes with his clients was guided by his in-depth knowledge of military law and his deep reverence for his clients who have served this country.
In addition to his military justice experience, David fiercely advocated for low-income tenant clients facing eviction. He successfully negotiated with property managers to prevent his clients from eviction and has had over 100 eviction cases dismissed in court. Overall, David has shown that he is always willing to fight for the “little guy” and right the wrongs that his clients have endured.
